Jorio’s Daughter – Pescara

The restoration of the painting “The Daughter of Ivory” comes as the concluding moment of a repeated study of the work elaborated during the many previous restorations. The processing and collection of the substantial documentary material was taken care of in the design phase by Dr. Elise De Leonardis of the Abruzzo ABAP Superintendency, who reported the information found in the document: project “Technical Report.” Before restoration work began, the Estia company commissioned the A.R.T.e CO. laboratory to conduct a detailed scientific investigation of the materials that make up the painting.
