Patriarchal Seminary – Venice

The architectural complex of the Patriarchal Seminary is located between the Basilica della Salute and Punta della Dogana. The building is embellished with countless works of sculpture, wall painting, as well as a collection of works on canvas and panel. Particularly significant is the cloister where more than a hundred tombstones as well as funerary monuments are placed on the walls. The intervention, conducted by Estia, covered all the valuable surfaces of the Seminary, including the large canvas, painted in oil, that covers the entire monumental staircase. On May 8, 2011, His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI was a guest on the premises of the Patriarchal Seminary.
